The parents of a 6-year-old boy who faced charges of first-degree sexual assault have sued Grant County officials who investigated and filed the juvenile petition. The charges came after a 5-year-old girl’s mother suspected that play had gone too far.

There is not much that shocks me anymore in the Swedish debate on gender equality. Men have already been compared with the Taliban, and the old man’s sputum has been said so many times that it is no longer provocative.In short, I am cured, and many others. Every day I reflect not so much about this, but it is only when any American or Englishman shocked to contact me about a Swedish phenomenon that I realize how extreme our circumstances are.
Today I am not only shocked but also angry and upset. Something has gone so far that I wonder when the limit is supposed to be.

Ein eklatanter Bruch der internationalen humanitären Installationen hat sich im 4. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Wieden zugetragen. Einer Frau und Mutter ihrer vier Kinder wurde das Recht auf Alleinerziehung trotz ihres dreimaligen Einspruchs von einem Gericht aberkannt. Besonders alarmierend ist die Tatsache, daß sogar das Jugendamt, das sich für den Verbleib der Kinder in der Obsorge der Mutter ausgesprochen hatte, diese Entscheidung nicht verhindern konnte. Offensichtlich maß das Gericht dem Gutachten einer Psychologin mehr Gewicht bei als der Stellungnahme der langjährig erfahrenen MitarbeiterInnen der Behörde. Obwohl die Kinder schon seit zwei Jahren bei der Mama und dem Opa leben, erhob die Gutachterin den Vorwurf, die Mutter würde die Kinder vernachlässigen.
